Ruhaniyat – The All India Sufi & Mystic Music Festival is a music festival held in across India. It is organised by Mumbai-based cultural organisation Banyan Tree Events between November and March every year. This Sufi festival is one of the biggest of its kind and is held in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad. Musicians from various parts of India — Sufi qawwals, mystic musicians, Kabir panthies, and Bauls — perform at the festival
19th edition of Ruhaniyat is all set to take off. In 2001, the first year, it was just one day event. But the following year onwards it has always been 2 days in Mumbai. The third-year Ruhaniyat was extended also to Hyderabad and the next year Delhi and Chennai and then Pune, Bangaluru, Kolkata and Ahmedabad were added. Now since past many years, Ruhaniyat is presented in these 8 cities covering North, South, East, and West of India.
